Intex iTab now available for Rs 8,900

Intex iTab, which was launched in March 2012 for Rs 11,900, is now available for Rs 8,900. It is a 8-inch capacitive display tablet running the Android Gingerbread and powered by a powerful 1GHz processor . The front of these gadgets comes with a matte steel finish. It supports wireless LAN connectivity and does not have in-built 3G . But you can still get 3G connectivity on it using the Intex 3G data card that comes free with this tablet . It has a full size USB port and integrated GPS module for navigation.The tablet also comes with a 5000 mAh Li-Ion battery, 3.5mm audio jack, as well as several pre-loaded apps and services, including Angry Birds and Office Suite.

Intex Technologies, a pioneer in Technology & IT Products such as Computer Peripherals, Mobile Phones and Consumer Electronics today nationally launched its new tablet- iTab, at Rs 8900.
The company has strategically planned a phased out product launch for this item. Earlier this month, the company in alliance with the dynamic Rajasthan Royals team unveiled the new tablet in Jaipur.

The new 8 inches android tablet comes with enhanced features and caters to the gadget savvy consumers who like to experiment with newer gadgets and yet are price-conscious.
Functioning on the 2.3 version of the Android operating system with Adobe Flash Player 11, the new i-Tab is powered by a 1 GHz cortex A8 core processor which is supported by a 1GB DDR3 RAM. It has an 8” capacitive five point touch screen display that allows the user to comfortably zoom in and out with all the fingers. The 360 degree G-Sensor feature makes it a complete entertainment and leisure device. It also has a memory capacity of 8GB which is expandable upto 32GB. It (also) supports external hard drive of 100GB.  The tablet is powered by a 5000 mAh battery giving it a back up of 5-6 hours (with Wi-Fi), one of the highly desirable features sought by customers.
Connectivity options include in-built Wi-Fi support. One can also choose to stay connected through 3G network by using the Intex dongle. One USB port gives this tablet the versatility of a notebook. It has a front camera and a 3.5mm audio jack out with built-in mike for video calls. To facilitate office work it comes with Word, Excel and Power Point viewer. Pre-loaded applications such as the Adobe Reader V9 office, easy battery saver and popular games like Angry Birds, Solitaire, Paper Toss, Talking Tom, etc. are among many others that are available in the tablet.  The users also have freedom to download numerous android applications available for free. It weighs only 475 grams making it a perfect choice for users who like to carry their entertainment wherever they go. In-built GPS software supported by Google Maps is another interesting feature.
